Ruidoso\'s horse racing season is from May to Labor Day. Winter boasts prime skiing at Ski Apache, which has a summit elevation of 12,000 feet and a vertical drop of 1,900 feet. Enjoy gambling at the nearby Mescalero Apache Reservation. All units have a fireplace and include a television and microwave oven.
